In contrast to some of my more crude work, I’ve been enjoying experimenting and playing with organic, smoothe shapes. Part of the fun comes from playing with transparencies, as well: thick globs, one over the other, show the secret of layers beyond them. Even with the bright colours, I think there is a certain softness about these paintings.
