Red is one of my favorite colours to paint with. By contrast, my new (outdoors) work area, during the creation of these two little paintings, was out in the clean, green countryside. The summer air smelled sweet, a warm gentle breeze filled my nostrils, and enticed my creative flow. I was surrounded by nature’s tranquility, my mind traveling to wherever it wanted to go.
That’s what happens when I paint.
