Ambling in France

Plains of green and brown create a wonderful horizon, dotted with farms and the occasional clustering of trees. These clusters of forest break up the horizontal lines, creating points of interest on the horizon. Everywhere I look, I see another landscape painting. Wild boar and deer live in there (I saw two deer, the other morning, early!). This evening, on the way back from visiting a nearby town, a long-tailed fox crossed our path… How exciting!

My waistline needs a break, however, from the wonderful creams, cheeses and pastries, and soon, I need to get back to my busy life in the city. I’m flying away from this breath of fresh air, in the hours that will tick away, ahead of me. Good-bye, for now, France, and to my beautiful and courageous Aunt Sue and to my dear, sweet Uncle Robert. May it not be so long until our next visit.

This is where my walk will lead me.
