New work

I’ve been quite taken with the concept of putting most of the colour on a part of the canvas (the point of interest), and leaving the rest of the canvas fairly empty (the “quiet space”). I love the way that doing so, creates a peaceful balance, even when I use very bright, bold colours (which I do often). I wonder if anyone else has noticed this shift in my creative process… ?
